Account and Data Deletion Policy
Effective Date: August 26, 2026
Application Name: Float Dr
Developer Portal: FLOAT DR
At Float Dr, we value your privacy and are committed to giving you complete control
over your personal data. This document outlines the explicit steps and policies
regarding how you can request the deletion of your mobile application account and
any associated personal information.
1. Types of Data Collected and Eligible for Deletion
When you select the account deletion option, the following categories of data are permanently purged or anonymized from our active databases. Please note that several of these items are internal backend data records and are processed automatically by our system without requiring any manual searching on your part:
Account Profile Information: Your visible account details including your registered name, email address, phone number, and authenticated secure login credentials.
Device Notification Identifiers (Internal Backend Data): Technical push notification routing tokens linked automatically to your physical device. These are cleared from our servers so that you stop receiving background alerts or system reminders after your account is closed.
App Progress & Intake Records (Application Progress): Your preliminary platform data, such as symptom checklists, registration history, and clinical goals filled out during your registration workflow.
2. How to Request Account and Data Deletion
We provide convenient pathways to process your data removal, allowing you to
trigger a deletion request either directly within the interface of our mobile app or via
our remote support options:
Method A: Direct Deletion via the Mobile Application
If you currently have the application installed and have access to your account, you
can initiate an automated deletion directly from your device by following these steps:
1. Open the app on your mobile device and ensure you are logged into your profile.
2. Navigate to the bottom Menu icon on the main navigation bar.
3. Select the Settings option from the list.
4. Tap the Delete Account button and confirm your selection to clear your active
session and queue your data for removal.
Method B: Deletion via Email Request
If you do not have the app installed or cannot log in, you can request manual
removal:
1. Open the email account associated with your Float Dr application profile.
2. Draft an email to our official data privacy support channel: info@floatdr.net
3. Use the Subject Line: Account Deletion Request - Float Dr Application
4. In the body of the email, clearly state your registered name and the email address or
phone number used during signup.
5. Send the request. Our administrative team will manually validate your request and
initiate the deletion cycle.
Method C: Online Support Form Submission
1. Navigate to our official platform web interface at: floatdr.net
2. Fill out the contact inquiry form with your account profile identifiers.
3. In the message field, explicitly specify: "Please permanently delete my Float Dr application account and wipe all associated data."
4. Submit the form.
3. Data Retention and Regulatory Compliance Boundaries
While Float Dr strives to honor all account deletion requests immediately, please be aware that certain data subsets may be subject to legal holding requirements:
Medical and Clinical Records: Because Float Dr interfaces with healthcare information and patient intake workflows, certain demographic details, symptom checklists, and clinical intake history may be legally preserved under active medical record retention laws and health compliance statutes. This data cannot be altered or removed prematurely by an administrative command.
Financial Transaction Records: Any records detailing past transactions, lab test purchases via external Stripe gateways, or historical platform interactions will be securely archived in our ledger systems for tax, auditing, and financial regulatory compliance purposes.
4. Processing Timeline and Notification
Validation & Execution: Once an account deletion request is submitted via email or our support portal, our engineering and database administration team will process the request within 30 business days.
Confirmation: After the account entry, credentials, and orphaned device notification tokens are securely decoupled and purged from the database infrastructure, a final confirmation email will be dispatched to your address certifying that the request has been fully executed.
For any additional questions regarding your data rights, please contact our privacy officer at info@floatdr.net.
